How did Luke Desira Help AIM?
Luke was called in by the management of AIM Enterprises Ltd. with the task of finishing what was started. You see, the company was already in the midst of getting ISO 9001 certification with another set of consultants. Unfortunately, the work done by these consultants resulted in a heavily bureaucratic system that left the company overwhelmed.
Therefore, Luke had a more difficult task than usual. He had to understand what was done well and what he needed to go over again to get the company up to speed.
Luke re-engineered the whole design process so that the process involved less reliability on documents and shifted its focus to an information-driven system that was simple and focused on the needs of the client.
Additionally, Luke also found himself providing strategic assistance to the senior management of the brand. Unfortunately, the management was overwhelmed, but Luke sought different ways to tackle issues with practical solutions to help the owners become leaders once again. To reduce some of the pressures of the senior management, Luke provided concise and practical tips on how to manage employees; especially those that are not performing.
Moreover, Luke also helped the management create visual procedures and flow charts that clearly depicted what the role of everyone is. Luke made it his mission to make sure that all employees, irrespective of their role in the hierarchy structure, were aware of how the company operated and what his or her role was in the company. This is a pivotal thing that will help a company work in a united manner
